Booking
Please select tours from the top menu bar for instant bookings using our online booking platform. Or, contact us using the Contact Form / Private Tours Booking Form or via direct email, info@memorytourshongkong.com.
Bookings are subject to availability and we operate on a first-come first-serve basis. A booking is confirmed when payment is made.
Payment

Credit card payment is via PayPal or Stripe in Hong Kong Dollars $

For large group bookings we require partial payment / deposit four week in advance.

Final payment needs to be settled seven days in advance to confirm the booking (you may cancel up to this point as well without cancellation fees).
Reschedule or Cancellation by the guest
We kindly request that you let us know if you are no longer able to make the tour as soon as you possibly can. We do understand that unforeseen circumstances do arise.
Any reschedule or cancellation have to be made 24 hours before the tour commencement date and time, and your payment will be refunded in full via your original payment method.
If the tour is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or you do not show up for the tour, no refund will be issued.
Customers who booked with an account and paid with credit card payment could reschedule and cancel online. For customers who do not have an account, please call +852-9809-4931, send us a message via Whatsapp, or email info@memorytourshongkong.com.
NB: Travel insurance is highly recommended
Cancellation by Memory Tours
In the event of Typhoon Signal 8, 9 or 10, or a Red or Black Rain storm the tour will automatically be cancelled due to safety of our guests. All tour fees will be refunded.
Memory Tours can cancel at any time and your fee will be refunded. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the tour with your arranged guide, all endeavours will be made to make alternative arrangements for the tour to go ahead with an alternative guide, if this is your preference.
Itinerary

Weather Conditions: Weather is beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for any disruptions, delays, or changes caused by adverse weather conditions.

Itinerary and Transportation: Actual itinerary times and transportation arrangements may be subject to changes depending on real-time situations. We make every effort to adhere to the planned schedule, but adjustments may be required to ensure safety and an optimal experience.

Tour Mode: Unless otherwise specified or booked as a customized private tour, all our tours are conducted in walking mode and utilize public transportation.

Fitness Requirements for Walking Tours: For walking tours, you and your party must have a moderate level of fitness to participate. Please note that Hong Kong is hilly, and summer temperatures can be very high. If you are unsure about your ability to join, we encourage you to discuss this with us directly. For those who prefer, we also offer Car Tour options.

Customized Private Tours: For private tours, we will suggest activities and itineraries that we believe best suit your interests, based on the preferences you provide on the booking form. We pride ourselves on being flexible, both before and during the tour, to ensure you get the most out of your Hong Kong experience.

Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds for any issues related to weather conditions, changes to the itinerary or transportation, the walking and public transportation mode of our tours, or fitness-related concerns.
Transportation
Public transportation – we highly recommend you obtain the Octopus Cards for getting around. These can be used on all ferries, buses, trains and trams which you will be using on a walking tour. They cost HK $200 per adult ($50 deposit) and can be purchased in Hong Kong currency from the MTR train station. We can help you with this when we meet.
Private transportation – we offer private car tours in luxury vehicles (up to 6 passengers without luggage) and coach tours for large groups all over Hong Kong. Please contact info@memorytourshongkong.com for price quotation and details.
Food and Drink (additional costs)
All personal food and drink costs on the tour are the responsibility of the guest, however, these costs are very affordable in Hong Kong, typically HK $150-200 per person and we can guarantee you the tastiest in Chinese cuisine!
Any other costs such as entrance fees, or transport costs not covered by Octopus Card (such as cable-car, sampan rides, park entrance fees etc) are at the guest’s own expense, we will add these on to your tour fee where stated in the itinerary.
Disclaimer & Agreement to Terms
All tour guides have been trained by the Tourism Industry Council (TIC) of Hong Kong and are licensed to carry out tours in Hong Kong.
Our website is kept up-to-date errors, omissions and exceptions notwithstanding.
We accept no liability for misinterpretations or the misunderstanding of the information provided.
We reserve the right to take photographs or film footage during the tour. Consent is implied unless stated in writing – we will not share anything you expressly tell us not to.
Please note all tours are undertaken at your own risk. We accept no liability or obligation in the event of illness, injury, death or loss or damage to personal property.
Payment constitutes agreement to all our terms and conditions.
